St David's Day is also known as the Walse day when all the Londoners honer the welsh monk St David, who according to the legend travelled across the country spreading the ideas of holy books and giving people knowledge. He died on 1st of March and from that day welsh people announce that day as a national holiday which is celebrated with a lot of welsh food and music all around the city. In addition people are usually wearing leek or daffodil as a symbol of their appreciation to St David.
